Yest - What a day !
Got up to the sms - ' Oye kameeni, bandra station 1 p.m '
Abhi Sag n Tanu came from Dadar , where theyd gone to give MockCat. Nameet n me came from Andheri. Shrads dint turn up, she wasnt feelin too well. These Mockcat morons came a good half an hour late. But tht was ok. Nams n me had some catching up to do with each others lives :D
We blindly followed Nams suggestion (come to think of it, last times venue weas his idea too - Lemon Grass - Thai food) and went to Jashn, that Khana Khazana guy's restaurant apparently. Exhorbitantly priced compared to our usual eateries. But hey, the food was way better than our usual too! So I guess that evened out. About the food, what can i say. Starters were mouth-watering! Main Course - aaah .. so filling ! We hogged like no tomorrow!
Then moved on to Pot Pourri for desserts. We bukkhads eat in style ;) hehe. We called for one of everything we could see, Chocolate Mousse , Black forest Tiramisu, Chocolate dot (turned out to be the best of em all), Mixed fruit pastry.. everything. But the way we ate was more fun than the dessert itself. One pastry, 5 spoons - Fight and get what u can. Once thats over, move on to the next. :D Kinda like the way once Sam, Sid, Diu n me had that Brownie at New Yorkers , remember ! ?
Hardly got back home, and rushed out again to Chins place. Happy bday chins ! Well, by then Abhi , Aki, Dipsy, Shail had already left. So there was Abu, Amar, Sam, Ankit, Shreya, Shweta, Chins and me, of course. The spotlight that evening was Amu, reminiscing about 'Madgaon'. Never fails to get everyone in splits ! :D
Got back home to aching legs and an even more severely aching tummy.
But neither a step, nor a morsel regretted ! :)
